Play Therapy Certificate Program (Victoria, British Columbia)

The CACPT Play Therapy Certificate Program offers unique and intensive training in the theory and practice of play therapy. Students who complete the thirty-day program earn 180 hours of continuing education credits, which is one of the steps needed to become a Certified Play Therapist. The program instructors are skilled play therapists who bring expertise on a wide variety of topics. Courses are offered in Winnipeg, Manitoba in May 2016, Victoria, British Columbia in June 2016,  Toronto, Ontario in July 4 to August 12, 2016,  St. John’s, Newfoundland in August 2016 and  Edmonton/Leduc, Alberta in November 2016.  Deadlines are listed under each program description (please visit website).

If you want to attend an individual workshop, limited space is available so you are encouraged to register early.

The Level I program in Victoria, BC is being planned for June 13 – 24, 2016. Level I consists of ten days (Monday to Friday). The cost of this ten-day level I course is $1600 plus GST for a total of $1,680. Individuals who do not wish to attend the full Certificate Program but would like to obtain training in Play Therapy can sign up for individual courses within the program (called CEU days). The cost per day is $200 (plus GST) for CACPT members and $220 (plus GST) for non-CACPT members. (Note that there is a separate Workshop Application Form).

The application deadline for the Play Therapy Certificate Program in Victoria is April 29, 2016! If you just want to attend an individual workshop, limited space is available so you are encouraged to register early.
